Lazarus Way is a fiscally sponsored charitable project of Disciples House Ministries. All donations made in support of Lazarus Way are received and administered by Disciples House Ministries and designated for the establishment, development, operation, and approved charitable work of Lazarus Way.
Donations may be used for reasonable and necessary expenses associated with Lazarus Way’s mission, including legal and organizational expenses, program development, facilities, equipment, supplies, fundraising costs, services and activities for children and families, and other approved operating expenses.
All contributions become assets of Disciples House Ministries and are maintained for the approved religious, charitable, and educational purposes of Lazarus Way, subject to the ultimate discretion and control of Disciples House Ministries. Separate financial records will be maintained for Lazarus Way funds, and expenditures must be reviewed and approved in accordance with the fiscal-sponsorship agreement and the financial policies of Disciples House Ministries.
If a particular expense, activity, or program becomes unnecessary, impracticable, or cannot legally be completed, Disciples House Ministries may use the funds for another approved Lazarus Way need or for a substantially similar charitable purpose consistent with the donor’s general intent and applicable law.
Checks should be made payable to Disciples House Ministries, with “Lazarus Way” written in the memo line. Donation acknowledgments will be issued by Disciples House Ministries. No goods or services will be provided in exchange for a donation unless specifically stated.
